It takes the product people at Corinna’s company as little as 15 minutes to fill out a BMC for an Epic. These 15 minutes (no preparation either) are often enough to see how far along their understanding of the Epic is and which aspects still need clarification. For them the BMC is more about looking from several angles, thinking and talking than the finished document.
